You are unique and your session will be tailored to your individual needs and goals. Everyone is different - two people with the exact same medical diagnosis can follow very different paths to healing!
Myofascial Release never pushes or forces - it is NOT a "no pain, no gain" approach. Instead, we uses gentle, sustained stretching, compression and cranial techniques to free your body from its restricting shell, producing feelings of relaxation and deep release.
Some people experience tremendous relief after just one session. For others, it may require multiple sessions.

Your first session will be a telehealth session to discuss your medical history and treatment goals. You will have the opportunity to share past experiences, current concerns, and hopes for the future. Many people who come to me for therapy have a long and complex medical history, often seeking relief for years, if not decades. Not to worry! Together, we will develop a treatment plan to help you get where you want to go. This may be a combination of myofascial release, core synchronism, cranial work, pelvic balancing, and/or somatic coaching.
After this initial intake and assessment, you can begin hands-on treatment sessions. We will do an in-depth postural/structural assessment to identify fascial restrictions that may be contributing to your condition. You will also receive approximately 55 minutes of hands on treatment in each session.
You will remain partially clothed throughout the session, so be sure to wear a comfortable pair of gym shorts, underwear, a loose, comfortable bra or tank top, or a two-piece bathing suit.
As you progress, you may choose to do a myofascial coaching session
to develop an individually tailored self care plan. This will help you maximize the benefits of therapy and achieve lasting results. Your self care plan will be expanded and updated to fit your changing needs.
